Calling all Nerds… FANBOY Expo 2018

“Attention all Nerds… Calling all Nerds… T – minus 3 days until the largest, greatest, nerd-ious convention of them all, Knoxville’s FanBoy Expo 2018!”

We are two of the biggest self-proclaimed nerds you can find.  From 80’s movies and music, we read and collect comic books, we love going to theme parks to ride the newest coasters, we travel hundreds of miles to go to the next comic con, we invite friends over for show and tell of our newest POPs or superhero statues… proud to be NERDS!

In just 3 days, one of the biggest comic cons in our area. We will be headed into the Knoxville Convention Center downtown for 3 days of fandom. Friday June 29th– Sunday July 1st.  The Knoxville FanBoy Expo brings in some of the region’s biggest celebrity guest for fan to meet and get that super special autograph and photo.

Here are a few that we are excited about.

Cassandra Peterson –
  • She’s goth, she has legs for days, she’s the ever so popular POP culture icon Elvira – Mistress of the Dark will be available (Saturday and Sunday Only) each day starting at noon to meet her fans. Peterson is one that you don’t want to miss.  We just had the opportunity to meet her last weekend in Indianapolis and you will see us in line again in Knoxville for her!
Ian McDiarmid –
  • He wants to rule the empire/universe, foes know him as Darth Sidious, the public call him Senator friends know him as Supreme Chancellor, he’s theone we all came to love, Emperor Palpatine himself will be available each day (Saturday and Sunday Only) for autographs and photos.  McDiarmid is a rara Star Wars guest to the United States and you don’t want to miss your change to meet him!
Jeremy Bulloch –
  • Most Star Wars fans know him as, “The Man behind the Mask”, the one, the only… Boba Fett!  Bulloch is another original member of the original Star Wars trilogy that is becoming a rare find on the convention circuit.  Bulloch is another we just had the opportunity to meet in Indianapolis and one you don’t want to miss!  He will be available all three days for autographs and photos with fans.
Henry Thomas –
  • He has a thing for flying bicycles, he has a soft spot for helping aliens “phone home”, he’s the one we all remember from the 80’s as Elliott from the Steven Spielberg classic, E.T.! Thomas will be available all three days to meet fans and sign autographs/take photos. (along with Thomas, Dee Wallace – Elliott’s mom and Robert Macnaughton – Elliott’s big brother, will also be available to meet fans).
Ron Perlman –
  • He’s big, he’s red, he’s Hellboy! Perlman best known for his Hellboy roles will be available (Saturday and Sunday Only) to meet fans and get autographs/photos.  (along with Perlman, Doug Jones – Abe Sapien and Selma Blair – Liz, also from Hellboy will be available to meet fans).
Nick Carter, Howie D & AJ McLean –
