Big Stone Gap, VA. On Saturday, July 21 hop on the Museum’s bus for a summer excursion to Hungry Mother State Park’s Arts & Crafts Festival. This tour invites participants to enjoy a day of artists, crafters, musical artists, dancers, musicians and a variety of food vendors at the longest running festival held in a Virginia State Park.
The bus will depart at 8 a.m. from the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park’s front gate and arrive at Hungry Mother State Park for the opening of the festival. Tour members will have the opportunity to experience the festival at their own pace until 2:30 p.m., when the bus will depart back to the museum. Seating is limited: reserve your spot today. Cost: $25 per person.
