The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Johnson City and surrounding county residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, presented by Eastman Credit Union. The Walk will take place on September 29th at Founders Park in Downtown Johnson City.
Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will complete a 2 mile walk and will learn about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Walk participants also honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.

Alzheimer’s kills more people than Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer combined and we have to stop the onset of this disease as soon as possible,” stated Meredith Sieber.
In addition to the 2 mile walk, participants will enjoy information regarding local resources and programs, music, food, games for the kids. Chris McIntosh of DayTime Tri-Cities will be our emcee for the ceremony. Eastman Credit Union is the Presenting Sponsor for the Johnson City Walk.
