A Thanksgiving Yuletide Show
With all the preparations for Thanksgiving and Christmas being just around the corner, LampLight Theatre ushers in the holiday season with a new Yuletide Show. This year’s productions brings a heart-warming message of family and home. A troubled family has a breakdown on their way to Grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving. They happen upon an old toyshop for help. They meet the toymaker, who specializes in fixing broken toys. He takes them on a journey to healing and finding the true meaning of Christmas. Yuletide 2018: “The Toymaker’s Wish” brings the wonder of Christmas alive.
The Toymaker weaves a story of hope and goodwill that is sure to jump-start your holiday season and promises to delight the hearts of all ages. Watch as toys come to life with singing and dancing. Whimsical elves bring comic relief with their frivolous capers. This variety show with its heartfelt storyline highlights your favorite Christmas songs with a talented cast of performers. Yuletide 2018 : “The Toymaker’s Wish” is a holiday production that offers something for everyone!
Performances of Yuletide will be held for three consecutive weekends: Nov. 9, 10, 11, Nov. 16, 17, 18, and Nov. 23, 24, 25. Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 PM. Saturday Matinees at 2:00 PM. Sunday Matinees at 3:00 PM. Doors will open one hour prior to performances. Admission is $12.00 for adults, $7.00 for students, FREE for children 5 years of age and under. Reservations are recommended.
A special Thanksgiving Dinner Theatre will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at The Emporium. The dinner will be held at 5:30 to accommodate both the matinee and evening performance. Patrons may eat after the matinee or before the evening show. Cost for the Dinner Theatre is Adults-$30/ Students-$25/ Children Under 12-$20. Doors will open for the Banquet Hall at 5:00. Reservations are required for the Dinner Theatre.
