3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14. Learn about the latest options for hip, knee, shoulder and ankle replacement. Johnson City Medical Center
Orthopedics Director Misty Jenkins will talk about what to expect before and after surgery and will provide recovery information and
tips. Ages 50+.
Staying Mentally Healthy During Winter:
11-11:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. Lisa Bausell, LPC, CEAP, will discuss the effect of winter on our mood. Some feel more tired, irritable or sad. Others may be grieving, which can be especially difficult during the holidays. Learn strategies to help ward off the winter blues. Ages 18+.
11 a.m.-noon. Monday, Nov. 19. Cardiac surgeon Dr. Bryan Helsel will provide information and answer questions. Learn about heart-valve diseases, symptoms, testing and treatments, including the latest replacement and repair options. Ages 18+.
