Keesecker Appliances, Furniture & Flooring opened its doors in 1946. They owned and operated the company well into the 70’s. They then sold it to their sons to continue the family business. Their son Sam ran the store until he passed in 2011. After being open for 65 years the store was facing closure. A native from Unicoi County; Ben McNabb decided to purchase the store and continue the business.
Ben had worked in the flooring industry for over 20 years. He now had the chance to apply his flooring expertise in his home town. With the longstanding reputation the store and the Keesecker family had in the community, Ben decided to keep the Keesecker name upon purchase. Ben learned he had personal history with the store when he found records of his grandparents’ purchases. So not only is he now operating in his home town he has a

Not many businesses make it to 70 years, Ben feels he is still succeeding by providing exemplary customer service and craftsmanship. He has been awarded Home Advisor Pro for 4 years. They are pillars of the community and pursue many community involvements.
