While strolling through downtown Elizabethton, make sure to venture into the Eagle Center Co-op to browse their diverse selection of vendors. You may recognize the store, as it has been there for over twelve years. However, back in June of 2019, the store was purchased by new owners. One of the new owners, Lisa Bunn, claims she was interested in the business, because she loves antiques and the antique “mall” setting. She also loves downtown Elizabethton and jumped at the chance to continue doing business there, as she started Duck Crossing Antique Mall in 1991. The Bunn family were also the former owners of the Coffee Company, which they started in 1997 and sold just last year. John Bunn also owns Doe River Roasters, a wholesale roasting company, which roasts coffee for about 25 accounts in the tri-state area. Clearly, doing business in the Elizabethton area is what they love to do.
