Hendersonville, NC – The Music on Main Street concert on Friday, July 12 will feature the four-piece band, West Sound, playing a wide array of tunes from Motown, Blues, Country, R&B, and the best of the ’60’s. The band is made up of two brothers: Randy and Oscar Weston, Michael Leyshon, plus female singer, Regina Duke. They play such favorites as: Boogie Wonderland, Easy, I Shot the Sheriff, Respect, Stand by Me, Sea of Love, Johnnie Be Goode and Up on the Roof.
The antique cars are revved-up for a Classic Car Cruise-In on Main Street. The car show is located in front of the Visitors Center, between Allen Street and Caswell Street, which will be closed to traffic. The car show is presented in conjunction with Music on Main and is held at the same time as the concert. Bring a chair and sit back, relax and enjoy the music from 7-9pm. Seating area opens after 5:30pm; early admission is strictly prohibited. Animals are not allowed in the event area. Alcoholic beverages, backpacks and coolers are prohibited. Admission is free. The concerts are held every Friday evening now through August 23.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will be postponed until 8pm; if the weather does not improve by 8pm the performance will be cancelled.
