Hendersonville, NC – Rhythm & Brews Concert Series presents Colby Deitz Band and Kenny George Band-Thursday, July 18, 2019-5:30-9:30 PM. How about an Americana/Folk Rock/Southern Rock/Country music awakening in Downtown Hendersonville NC? On July 18th Rhythm & Brews Concert series presents two bands that will not only draw a crowd, but will pull the audience into an energetic and gritty musical experience.
Kenny George Band, hailing from Aiken, SC, starts the evening off at 5:30 PM. The band describes itself as a ragtag bunch, whose music and songwriting is honest and organic, with passion, purpose and sincerity—and no pretence. Kenny George and Scott Rankin anchor the band with guitars and vocals along with Randy Borawski on drums, C. Marshall Ely playing the pedal steel guitar and Brooks Andrews on bass. In 2016, the band was voted South Carolina Artists to Watch by the South Carolina Music Guide.
Continuing the momentum at 7:30 PM will be the Colby Deitz Band. The Asheville based band is well known for delivering a powerful punch with its awe-inspiring stage presence, the authenticity of Deitz’s songwriting and precision voice. The band members keep the energy high as they rotate instrumental duties and give an unrelenting performance that is poured from their very souls. Band members for Rhythm and Brews are Colby Deitz-Lead Vocals/ Guitar, Tucker Ellis-Guitar/ Backing vocals, Blake Jones- Guitar/Backing Vocals, Chris Benavides-Bass/Backing Vocals and Spencer Bradley- Drums. According to Deitz, every Colby Deitz Band performance should be a “musical party.”
Rhythm & Brews is a free outdoor concert series offering local foods, wines, craft beers and ciders.
Hands On! Children’s Museum booth provides fun for the whole family. The concert is located on South Main Street between Allen and Caswell Streets in downtown Hendersonville NC. Tickets and wristbands, for the purchase of beer, wine and hard cider, will be located at the Downtown Hendersonville tent.
