Clarence’s Drive-In, an American restaurant and diner, is celebrating their 50th anniversary on September 20th, featuring giveaways, refreshments, and an exclusive Loafer Live.
Clarence’s Drive-In was started back in 1969 with the intention to provide quality food for the best possible price. In November of 2017, a fire destroyed their previous restaurant in Unicoi leading the business to close their location. Fortunately, the owners of Clarence’s Drive-In, Jerry and Teresa Collins, have decided to rebuild their business, purchasing the old Wendy’s building off of North Main Avenue in Erwin, Tennessee.
The new location of Clarence’s Drive-In remains the same old restaurant that the community has come to know and love over the past fifty years. They continue to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for take-out and dining in. They also offer gluten free and vegan options as well. The family business treats their customers and employees like family as most of their customers are regulars that they have known for years. You can feel comfortable at Clarence’s Drive-In as they truly intend to give you the best experience possible.
The new location of Clarence’s Drive-In can be found directly off of Erwin’s North Main Avenue, located at 1502 N Main Avenue in Erwin. If you are coming from I-26, you will take exit 36. Make sure you stop in soon to see their new location and try the food that customers have enjoyed for 50 years! You do not want to miss their anniversary celebration, as they will be featuring giveaways and great food. They can be reached at 423-743-7200 and are open seven days a week.
