JOHNSON CITY – Tennessee Film Nights, a series of three evenings of films made in East Tennessee, will take place in downtown Johnson City on Tuesdays, Sept. 10, 17 and 24.
Films will be shown outdoors beginning at 8 p.m. each night at the Atlantic Ale House, 111 McClure St. Each evening has a theme, and the theme of the opening session on Sept. 10 is “Mountain South Reimagined.”
This series will feature films made by ETSU students, especially those in the Radio/TV/Film (RTVF) program in the university’s Department of Media and Communication. Films made by other local filmmakers will be considered, as well.
The film series is for mature audiences. In case of rain, the event will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date; patrons may look for Tennessee Film Nights on Facebook for cancellation information.
