Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site will be hosting an All You Can Eat Breakfast on Saturday,
November 9th, from 8am-10am. This breakfast will coincide with the reenactments and Veterans
Day activities of A Walk in Their Boots event on site. This event is to educate the public on the
alterations of the American military from Revolutionary War to modern day and to honor all the
men and women that served their country. There will be reenactments of WWI and Vietnam
throughout the day and plenty of food for breakfast.
From 8am-10am the site will be serving Biscuits, Eggs, Sausage, Gravy, and Grits. Be
sure to arrive early and let us feed you, before heading out onto the “Most Historic Site in
Tennessee” and discovering all that this site has to offer and learning from the many eras of the
American Military displays.
Admission for the event is FREE for the public to come out and enjoy A Walk in their
Boots. The breakfast is a $7.00 charge for adults and $4.00 for children 12 and under, 3 and
under are free. Donations are welcomed and will go to help the site continue its mission values.
Fresh, made on site Apple Butter will also be for sale – $8.00 per pint and $4.00 per half pint.
Tipton-Haynes is a Tennessee Historical Commission State-Owned Historic Site.
