Create Appalachia releases Arts@Work schedule for January through June 2021

Create Appalachia is proud to announce the return of the Arts@Work series of workshops. This series is designed to help entrepreneurial and self-employed artists and makers develop and enhance professional business skills. Topics include business strategy, marketing, communication and promotion, pricing, and client relations. Each workshop features interactive discussions with experienced instructors. Many include assignments and critiques; and some offer optional one-on-one consultation.

The series is designed to meet the needs of small creative businesses dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Also due to the pandemic, Create Appalachia is offering these workshops at greatly reduced ticket prices. This is thanks to a generous grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission, which allows us to keep the series particularly affordable.

All workshops will be offered virtually from January to March. If possible, in-person workshops will begin in April, but the series will revert back to an online platform if safety demands. Seats for each of the classes are limited, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

To reserve your spot or to view a more detailed summary on each individual workshop, please visit the Create Appalachia website: https://www.createappalachia.org/education/artsatwork/

Register for the January 21 class now on Eventbrite:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/diversifying-before-disaster-pandemic-proofing-your-creative-business-tickets-133990971603

The specifics of each workshop will be updated on the Create Appalachia website as they are confirmed. To receive updates, please sign up for our once-a-month newsletter: https://www.createappalachia.org/contact/
