Aunt B’s American Kitchen
Aunt B's American Kitchen was established in September 2018 with the idea of creating a home-cooking style restaurant to serve the areas of Johnson City and Elizabethton. Because the Milligan area had been neglected for so long the owners of Aunt B’s saw an opportunity to revitalize the area by providing local patrons and Milligan College students an alternative to tired chain restaurants.
Providing great food created with only freshest ingredients and served in a family setting, their breakfast offerings feature traditional fare such as omelettes, biscuits, pancakes, and more, while their lunch and dinner menus offer appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. The popular $5.00 Blue Collar Lunch section offers several great low-cost selections that are sure to put a smile on your face!
What sets Aunt B's American Kitchen apart are their signature burgers such as "The Green Mile" - a delicious hamburger featuring a fried green tomato topped with house-made pimento cheese, and the Impossible Burger™ - The famous vegan patty you have heard about in the news which so closely resembles real meat that even dedicated carnivores have been surprised.
The majority of dishes created at Aunt B’s include locally sourced ingredients. Buying locally ensures the highest quality of ingredients as well as helps bring prosperity to the region. Additionally, Aunt B’s is actively involved in coordinating community events and supporting several worthwhile local organizations.
If you crave a home-cooked meal like your Grandma used make, you should visit Aunt B’s American Kitchen located at 1436 Milligan Hwy in Johnson City, TN 37601. Open Mondays through Saturdays.
